'BECOMING'

A R T I S T S T A T E M E N T

Titled 'BECOMING', this artwork serves as a visual narrative, weaving together themes of fear, doubt, anticipation, and, ultimately, unwavering hope.

When life presents itself with tragedy and grief, there's a reckoning of the human soul, where the only way out is through. Out of the darkness, faint glimmers of hope emerge and life blooms.

Evolving in parallel with life's unpredictable course, this large-scale tapestry slowly unfolded into being during the artist's journey into motherhood. Having experienced degrees of grief and sadness, she found solace in the miracle of life. Stepping into this transformative journey, she embraces pregnancy's bodily and emotional changes, simultaneously regaining trust in herself and the world again. Having lived life on the edge of fear and hope, her faith is slowly renewed, a testament to the boundless potential of the human spirit.

Defined by courage and resilience, this new life growing inside her beckons her to trust her intuition like never before. 'BECOMING' is not just a depiction of creation; it embodies the transformative power of tragedy, the journey of coming into being, and the profound discoveries that emerge along the way.
